Volunteer
WHEAT uses volunteers for a wide range of jobs: reception, pantry work, administrative work of processing clients, pickups at grocery stores, Volunteers must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination. This is for the safety of our volunteers, staff and our clients.

Fundraising/Food Drives
WHEAT exists on community support from donations of funds and food. Groups have held fundraising events such as concerts, karaoke nights, paint social evenings and the like
​
Others have held food drives at schools, churches, businesses, and civic organizations year-round.

Food Items Needed:
WHEAT is always in need of food, and the items we need to be donated vary from month to month.

Right now we can use any non perishable items: canned goods, tuna fish, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, soup, etc. We do not accept any perishable goods at this time. Thank you.
